We are completely wowed by all the images coming out of the inaugural Kips Bay 2020 Decorator Show House in Dallas. Twenty Seven of the industry's top designers came together to transform the North Dallas home. We were so proud to provide hardware for two of the rooms by Michelle Nussbaumer and Doniphan Penn Moore. (how cute are they below during install week!)
Moore's space in the Dallas home was a 1200 square foot octagon that branched off into His and Hers closet, including a coffee bar and luxury bath.
“Because of its shape, I thought it would be cool to have the space be a menagerie of falling branches inspired by several de Gournay wallpaper designs,” Moore says. “It’s really enveloping, with several layers that tell the story of who I am while still being cohesive.” He worked closely with the brand to show a different side of de Gournay that is a bit more modern but still rooted in classicism. Stunning Stone Boutique marble used throughout the bathroom adds a strong, masculine contrast to the feminine walls.
Moore designed these built-in closets from the Container Store. The luxury closets go from floor to ceiling and are adorned with Addison Weeks hardware.
Shown on the Container Store closet doors is the ALLEN hardware in Brass.
Moore used the HARRISON hardware in labradorite to coordinate with the hand painted DeGournay wallpaper called "Wisteria Moon" on the side drawers in this dressing suite.
More beauty from designer Doniphan Moore.
