Return Policy

• If the return is due to our error or product was received in a damaged state, please click here or email returns@addisonweeks.com within 5 days to obtain a UPS call tag for us to pay for the freight back. Please include pictures of the product being returned in the email. Specify your order number from the original order when requesting a return label. Please write RETURN on the exterior of the box.

• Returns must be packed properly to prevent damage and must be returned in sellable condition. Original packing slip must be included in the return box with a reason code on it.

• Returns must be processed within 30 days of our invoice date. Returns received after 30 days will not be credited.

• A refund will be issued to the original method of payment upon receipt of the return. Shipping fees are nonrefundable.

• Any order correctly filled by Addison Weeks but returned by the customer will have a 20% restocking fee for processing the return (this helps inspecting each item, repackaging as necessary, restocking each item, and issuing a credit) plus shipping charges. Please click here to process your return.

• All custom gemstone hardware pieces are handmade just for you. We carefully choose and hand set the stones in our Charlotte studio. The slight imperfections of our natural gemstones enhance the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.  Gemstone Hardware will have a restocking fee of 50% as these cannot be resold.

• We periodically offer discounted prices & limited quantities on certain products. All sale items are final sale. Gifts can be exchanged or returned for store credit.

• We trust our excellent shipping partner UPS for fulfillment. Sometimes, after the package has been shipped and tracking updates have been generated, there can be unexpected delays, delivery errors, lost, or stolen packages.  If you face such an issue please contact our customer service team.


Shipping Policy

  • In-stock items normally ship within 3 business days from the date of order from our Charlotte, NC studio.
  • After an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible.
  • All orders have a $3.25 packaging & handling fee – this fee is incorporated into the listed freight cost on the invoice, rather than being listed separately
  • All orders are shipped UPS Ground unless you specify a different method of shipment

Warranty Information

  • All Addison Weeks products are handmade and hand finished, thus you will see some lot to lot variation. Some items, due to the nature of the finishing process, will have variations within a lot, color and or finish. All of our products are designed for Indoor use only.
  • Care - Hardware should only be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with clear water and wiped dry with a cloth. Water or soap residue should not be left on the product as chemicals and minerals contained within will eventually violate the protective coating and deteriorate the finish. Do not use harsh cleaners or waxes to clean the product as these will also deteriorate the protective finish and void the warranty.

Addison Weeks Limited Warranty

Addison Weeks hereby expressly disclaims and excludes any and all expressed and implied warranties except those which are specifically set forth below.

Addison Weeks SPECIFICALLY AND EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Addison Weeks warrants for ONE (1) year from the date of purchase that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship. Addison Weeks also warrants the finish on its product against tarnishing for one year from the date of purchase. The warranty described herein shall not apply to any products which have been subject to misuse, negligence, accident or have been altered or repaired. This warranty shall run solely to the first residential user and is non transferable.

The sole and exclusive remedy of the Buyer and the sole and exclusive liability of Addison Weeks’ option, shall be the return of the non-conforming products and the repair or replacement of said non-conforming products and the reapair or replacement of said non conforming products, or the return of nonconforming products and the repayment of the purchase price of said non-conforming products. Addison Week’s obligation for non-conforming product shall terminate ONE (1) year after the purchase of the product.

Addison Weeks shall not be liable under any damages, including transportation expenses, caused by the breach of any warranty.

To obtain Performance of the obligations described herein, the Buyer shall do the following:

1) Within ONE (1) year of delivery contact Addison Weeks, show proof in writing specifying the defect of the products and requesting instructions on how to proceed: and

2) Allow Addison Weeks to inspect the products at a reasonable time and at a reasonable location: and,

3) Return the products to Addison Weeks within 14 days after being instructed to do so by Addison Weeks or to such a point as Addison Weeks may Designate.
